I’m Shirleen Schmidt (M.Couns), a registered counsellor, psychotherapist, and hypnotherapist. I support women experiencing emotional difficulty during periods of transition, change, and adjustment across the lifespan.
My work is grounded in empathy, emotional safety, and a collaborative, trauma-informed approach. I walk alongside women as they navigate experiences that can be complex, overwhelming, or difficult to speak about, including emotions that may feel unfamiliar, conflicted, or socially unacknowledged. Sessions provide a respectful, non-judgemental space where clients can explore their experiences at a pace that feels right for them.
You don’t need to be in crisis to seek counselling. Support can help you feel steadier and less alone as you move through what’s unfolding.
